Gym Rat Editorial
When tasked with illustrating for a Scientific Journal, humor isn’t what typically comes to mind. However, in this editorial for Discover Magazine, I thought about the audience that would be affected by the research completed & presented in this article. I anticipated that those who work out religiously, otherwise known as ‘Gym Rats’ would be the most at risk, and benefit from reading the research. While brainstorming I decided that illustrations such as these would create the visual interest needed for a topic that could be viewed as stale to some readers.

Our Last Night
Researched a band I had seen play numerous years ago at a small show. Developed the body copy, and acrylic artwork accompanying the history. Paint pouring was inspired by the album artwork released for the 2017 EP, Selective Hearing.
